Isla Contoy is a natural wildlife reserve and bird sanctuary. Trips leave in the morning, stopping to snorkel along the way. A picnic lunch of grilled fish is served on the beach.
Snorkel & Dive
Diving and snorkeling around Isla is unforgettable. Manchones Reef begins just off of Isla’s shore and MUSA, the underwater sculpture museum is accessible by boat.
Isla Mujeres is a fishing paradise from off-shore to deep sea. Possibilities include Sailfish, Dorado, Marlin, Wahoo, Bonito, Barracuda, Mackerel, Snapper and more!
Treat yourself to at least one relaxing massage while you’re here. We will arrange for the therapist to come to Casa IxChel where you can enjoy the massage to the sound of the crashing waves.
Free yoga classes are included for guests of the hotel and includes the use of a clean yoga mat. Bring a towel, an open heart and a bottle of water, especially in the summer months. Yoga classes are dependent on the weather.
There are many wonderful things to see on Isla Mujeres, from Hacienda Mundaca to the famous Shell House. We’ll arrange for a golf cart, moped or bike for you to explore the sites of Isla Mujeres.
Chichen Itza, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World is a spectacular and mystical place to visit. This full day trip can include a stop at the town of Valladolid and the Dzitnup Cenote.
Xcaret is an eco-archaeological park by the sea that features a range of exciting and unique activities, where you have fun while discovering the natural and cultural richness of Mexico.
A magical place just south of Cancun, Tulum was one of the main cities of the Mayan civilization. Many people combine their visit to Tulum with a visit to adventure parks Xel-Ha or Xplore.
